WL1837MOD: WiFI channel configuration for Japanese 5GHz regulation

Part Number: WL1837MOD
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3356,

Hello team,

Our customer is developing their systems with WL1837MOD / AM3356 (Linux SDK). One model is AP, other system is Station. Customer plans to use this system in outdoor (open-air field). According to MIC(Japanese 5GHz regulation), some Operating frequency channels are limited. Therefore customer would like to disable W52 /W53. Customer is trying to investigate how customer should modify source code, they could not find good solution. Could you elaborate this procedure, please?

Regarding AP configuration, customer noticed the following configuration file, however, they were not able to understand how to modify it.
/usr/share/wl18xx/hotstapd.conf
Regarding STA configuration, they were not able to understand what kind of configuration file they should modify.

Can we have your Expert’s advice/ comments on this, please?
Since TI wiki is no longer available, it will be appreciate if you also will share helpful document/URL additionally.

Best regards,
Miyazaki
