Hi Experts,
Our customer is developing their system with WL1837MOD/AM3356. Customer is testing Bluetooth SIG certification(RF-test) in the test-house now. However, they were not able to do the certification-test because RF-tester has stopped suddenly. Therefore, customer is asking some inquiries as follows. Can we have your Expert's advice/comments on this certification, please?
1. Customer's HCL Initialization script.
Customer created HCL Initialization script which based on TIInit_11.8.32.bts.I attached this script(Customer_HCIScript2.txt). Regarding this script, customer modified some points. One modification is, customer comments out Line20, 21 and 23 because it does not work when the baud-rate is set to 3000000bps. And, other modification is that customer disabled deep sleep mode(Line 746). Would you see any issue/concern for customer's script?
2. BT SIG RF Test-mode
Customer is referring this URL(https://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/WL18xx_Bluetopia_PM_Bluetooth_RF_Testing#BT_SIG_RF_Testmode). According to ' BT SIG RF Testmode' section, The procedure for enabling the Wilink_X for BT SIG mode is described as follows. However, customer would like to know what 'correct service pack' means. Could you elaborate it in more detail, please? Customer also checking HCITester Tool(https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/swru136) "3.2 Firmware Initialization Script", does 'correct service pack' mean, above script?
Proper device power-up Load the correct service pack Load the DUT script (three HCI commands)
3. How to enable BT SIG RF Test-mode
Customer is verifying this certification with Bluetooth SIG tester. Is there any way how to enter DUT-test-mode?
It will be really appreciated if your will share your Expert's quick advice/comments on this because customer is already testing this on test-house.
