CC2652P: CC2652P restart failed

Hi Howjie,

Can you please further describe the connection and external components connected to the TMS/TCK lines?  Can you revive the setup with a power cycle or hardware reset?  I will loop in Hardware Team experts to further review and provide the recommended approach.  Below are some external references for your review:

On the LauncherPad board, we connect or disconnect the TMS/TCK of the CC2652P through the jumper cap Connection.

It can be restarted by power-off and power-on.

The problem only occurring when TMS/TCK is connected makes me think this could be a HIB problem. Section 6.4 on the Reference Guide has some information about JTAG and HIB that could be helpful to you: link

We have encountered a situation where the device enters the HIB before.
At that time, our hardware has a certain chance to enter the HIB but the LauncherPad will not.
After we check the "Lock Debug Interface", the problem can be solved.

However, the problem encountered this time is different from the last time. When we use the LauncherPad, it will fail to start, and the phenomenon still exists after checking the "Lock Debug Interface".

I just want to clarify the problem that you are facing and get further details. Is the LaunchPad failing to start, restart or both? Do you only experience this issue when using JTAG (connecting to the TMS/TCK pins)? Do you receive any error messages when the problem occurs?

Additionally, could you check the signal on the TMS and TCK pins and send a picture?

The current situation seems to only appear when restarting.

Yes.

Q3.Do you receive any error messages when the problem occurs?

We used the indicator light to flash in BIM, and made the indicator light to stay on in the application project.
When the device fails to restart, the indicator does not show any expected action and it is always off.

We cannot confirm what state we are in at this time.
