Hi All,

As a part of our implementation, we want to do the changes in O-QPSK PHY scheme in IEEE 802.15.4 implemented on CC2652P/CC2652R.

Current O-QPSK PHY implementation is as follows

what we want to do is

Does CC2652 support modification in modulation scheme ? what constraints will we face (in accordance with Radio and exposed registers) while modifying this?

I think it should be a beautiful dream. But the IEEE-802.15.4 standard is too old, and it needs update.

We are looking into this, but it seems like it might not be doable, and if it is it will require internal radio patches/override of register settings.

The impact on radio performance, if this were to be possible, is still unknown since this is something that would require extensive testing and characterization to understand.
