Hi,

question

how to add/remove Zigbee devices from coordinator by manually in z tool ? like add /remove devices in home assistant in home assistant have add device / remove device option like that its possible in Z tool and when remove the device that device goes to reset or pair mode its possible ?

Hi Praveen,

You can request that a device leave the network with ZDO_MGMT_LEAVE_REQ which will be further processed upon receiving the ZDO_LEAVE_IND. Another option is to remove the device's information using ZDO_SEC_DEVICE_REMOVE, ZDO_REMOVE_LINK_KEY, and/or ZDO_EXT_SEC_APS_REMOVE_REQ. I recommend that you review this relevant E2E thread.

You can use APP_CNF_BDB_START_COMMISSIONING with Commissioning Mode=0x02 or ZDO_MGMT_PERMIT_JOIN_REQ on coordinator to allow device to join. To remove a device, you can use ZDO_MGMT_LEAVE_REQ on coordinator to send leave request to device. Basically, the device receiving leaving command to go to reset itself or pair mode sometimes depends on implementation of device side.

Yes, you can use ZDO_MGMT_LEAVE_REQ to send leave request to remove individual device.

You can use ZDO_MGMT_LEAVE_REQ with rejoin flash set as true.

This depends. If device reset and clear network information, the device won't be able to rejoin. Unless, the coordinator enable permit join to allow device to join.
