Do you run Z-Stack on your CC2538? Can you elaborate which GPO you cannot control and how you control it?

No we are not using Z-Stack on CC2538, We have configured this as output pin and we set the GPIO pins high or Low as per logic required.

PD0, PD1, PB5, PC0 and PC1 are the GPIO which we cannot control in CC2538

I would suggest you to use CC2538 Foundation Firmware to test those pins and see if they still have problem.

Are you evaluating a SMARTRF06EBK with CC2538EMK or a custom board?  You will need to make sure that these pins are not otherwise allocated in hardware or software for other purposes.

Please tell test procedure to use  CC2538 Foundation Firmware. for pins testing.

Import the bsp\srf06eb_cc2538\examples\iar_examples.eww workspace into IAR EWARM v6.50 and modify the bsp.h file in accordance with your board settings.  You should most likely consider evaluating the leds example for pin output control.  The docs folder contains further hardware/software information you can reference.

We are already been using the same procedure for GPIO config. Our main issue boards work fine newly but after 6 months Some of the GPIO as mentioned State does not change.

This is new information.  What voltage level is your board power supply and are the devices exposed to environments where ESD is possible?  Please consider submitting your hardware design to SIMPLELINK-2-4GHZ-DESIGN-REVIEWS for further review.

We usually don't do design reviews on this platform. Would you please submit a formal request for a design review through the link mentioned by Ryan?

Regardless of that, a problem that manifests itself only after months of continuous operation could be either attributed to a stress on the part due to a problem on the design or due to an environmental problem as Ryan alluded in his post. We can certainly analyze the first route, but the second one becomes a lot more involving and, just like with any intermittent failure, not easily reproducible. Do you have a documented rate of failure (good boards versus bad boards) to report?

Thank you for the information. At first glance it seems this is a failure limited to a few devices, but I would submit the review request. I assume these failures are happening in the field and not in a controlled lab environment, right? If there is anything else that you can recall that might be in common to all these (high temperature, high humidity, vibration, etc), this might be able to give an additional clue.
