LP-CC2652RB: temperaturesensor vs sampleapp, z-stack config differences in sysconfig

Hello,

I have noticed that there is a difference in how the Z-Stack page of sysconfig displays comparing the sampleapp and temperature sensor example. Specifically the temperature sensor is missing the "Zigbee Application Endpoint" and "over-The-Air Upgrade Client Endpoint" options. There is an Add button in the top right, but it is greyed out stating the instance limit is reached.

What is the reason for this, what am I missing?

I suppose temperature sensor manually add endpoint and clusters in zcl_sampletemperaturesensor_data.c. There is a line "zstack.appBuilder = true;" need to be added into zed_temperaturesensor.syscfg to allow you to edit endpoint/cluster in sysconf.

am I supposed to edid the syscfg file manually in another editor?

this was a surprisingly hard nut to crack ...

In that case, I suppose you should do it base on sampleapp instead of temperature sensor example.

I would not recommend manually editing the syscfg file. The ZCL Sample Application builder is not designed to integrate custom clusters. Another application example would be more suitable since the *_data.c file can be easily modified.
