Part Number: CC2538DK
Does the cc2538dk support TSCH? does it need extra drivers for it or something?
I know Contiki-NG support CC2538 TSCH_MAC which you can refer to this discussion. Not sure if this is what you mean TSCH in your question.
Yes I have gone through that several times trying to make the boards communicate with each other but they dont seem to communicate.
I tried simpler examples with different protocols and it works, but when it is related to TSCH, they dont seem to connect to the network. This is why I am wondering if the boards have the proper drivers for it
If you are using Contiki-NG, I would suggest you to consult your issue on Contiki-NG github.
I want to know if the equipment itself supports TSCH, I am not sure why should I ask Contiki-NG about it when it is a board issue. This board run without problem software created in Contiki-NG that uses CSMA but when I put the TSCH they dont transmit, this code that i used was used before in fireflies and it worked on them, this is why I am asking about the boards and not Contiki-NG
TSCH is more related to software implementation and as I know, it can be implemented on CC2538.
i followed all the steps in this blog:
https://docs.contiki-ng.org/en/develop/doc/platforms/cc2538dk.html
and yet it didnt work, same code works in fireflies as mentioned before. This is why I am confused about it, i am able to flash the software and it actually connects to the ipv6 tunnel but they dont send anything.
Hi Nestor,
As TI does not develop or maintain this software, please reach out to the Contiki community.
Edit: Have you evaluated the CC2538DK (SMARTRF06EBK + CC2538EMK) RF performance previously, either with Smart RF Studio 7 or other stack embedded firmware?
Regards,
Ryan
