HomeAutomation 1.2 and network performance

Hi, im having a network of 30routers + coordinator  based on HomeAutomation 1.2.0 (2.6.1 stack) ,
im running some tests this week to check the stability of the stack and the performance of the network.
The testing procedure is based on a af_data_req every 1 sec for each device .
So after the test i had 2 kind of problems, the first one is that the networks seems to be not such responsive
as the older stack (the previous test was with SE 1.1.0 profile 2.6 stack).
The second and more serious problem is that after a couple of hours 2 devices just stop to answer at any request.

My first thought was that the devices fail some how and stop, but the device doesn't fail, because a led on it blinks every second and informs me that the device is up and running.
Two days after this i turn on the permit join on the coordinator to add a new device on the same network. At this time suddenly the two devices started working normally again.

It was like for some reason, the devices had turned off their radio or entered a low power mode state. A couple of minutes before the permit join i also noticed on the sniffer a GTS Request from the 0x000 -> 0xfff.

Do you have any idea about the behaviour of the network, and do you have any information about the GTS request ?
Also i noticed some changes on the new stack at MAC/NWK layer and some new compiling option like FEATURE_GREEN_POWER (i try to remove it but the device stack at the initialization at zmain)
does these changes affect the performance of the network?

Thank you in advance!
