Hi,

I am working now to develop an application which include many cluster in home automation application profile ,my question please is to know which is the file intended to the application layer (for the user) ,i will begin with turn on/off the lights ,after i will add many clusters ,where i must place my code ,my application ,after the configuration and the register of the endpoints ,where i should place my code ,

I suggest you study SampleLight and SampleSwitch examples in Z-Stack Home.

You can refer to Z-Stack Home Sample Application User's Guide.pdf in Z-Stack Home documents folder. Z-Stack Home Developer's Guide.pdf and Z-Stack Developer's Guide.pdf are also useful and helpful to you.

I think you can start from zcl_SampleLight.c and zcl_SampleSwitch.c. It is not easy to jump into Zigbee world so you have to have patience.

Dear Chen ,
the ZCL ZigBee Cluster Library
Application Programming Interface doesn't contain the zcl_SampleLight.c !!!! even the zcl_SampleSwitch.c !!! it contain just Lock and Unlock door

My work ik to develop an application based on cc2538 on home automation profile.I will use many clusters because (for example) i will turn on/off lights,lock door .... what u advise me to do first of all.the ZCL contain just the declaration of the attribute and the command ,but i need to know what i need to configure and what i must do at first .i hope u understand now my target.

The device type, active endpoint, and supported clusters/attributes are defined in zcl_SampleSwitch_data.c and zcl_SampleLight_data.c. The ZCL commands are implemented in zcl_general.c, zcl_ha.c,...You have to read Zigbee HA and ZCL spec and map them to Z-Stack examples. There is no shortcut .

i am currently working on Cluster attributes and commands ,i ask you please to give me a short idea about the OSAL(OS Abstraction Layer) ,for example what i will do in this file OSAL_SampleLight.c .

You don't have to deal with osal_SampleLight.c when you work on cluster attributes and commands.

By the way, if you intend to know more about osal layer, you can refer to Z-Stack Home Developer's Guide.pdf and OSAL API.pdf in document folder.

And the choice of the endpoint ,i mean the configuration of the endpoint is-it in the Application Framework file Source AF.c ??Please i need to know where i will configure my device (endpoints) .

Thanks a lot ,i want to know if cc2531 is sufficiently for application HA(using the clusters) ,we begin the job by cc2538 but we change now the target.

Yes, CC2531 or CC2530 is sufficient for HA application.

when i download the Z-Stack1.2.2 i didn't find code based on cc2531 ,i find just cc2530 and cc2538 ,but my work is to program the cc2531 ,what can i do plz ?

You can go to IAR PRoject->Options->General Options->Target and change device type form CC2530F256 to CC2531F256.

but the examples is based on cc2530F256 ,cc2531F256 can treat the same code???

I see no big problem. Of course you have to revise some HAL related codes to make the code work on CC2531EMK properly.

thanks :) ,now Chen this USB dongle can be used as a coordinator? i mean can i command my end device through this usb dongle ,and is he sufficient to implement HA profile (with many clusters domains) ?

Yes, there is no problem to configure it to HA coordinator.

You can try to use ZTool to configure CC2531 to Zigbee coordinator and test it.
