Does zstack NWK will resend the boardcast msg 3 times as default？

As I know, Z-Stack examples won't broadcast this read attribute command by default. Do you program those ZC and device?

this read attribute CMD was design in my application， and i am sure that there is only send one read attribute CMD one time every 5s

But as the log shows ， it seems that boardcast 3times ！！！

so i curious about whether it is the default setting （boardcast 3times） of the ZSATCK NWK or not

but  all the zcl transmit sequence number is same 。。。。

It's strange but why do you broadcast ZCL message like this way?

I would suggest you to use unicast not broadcast.

i found that all the boardcast msg always being resend 3 times by the NWK。

Maybe I can test this on origin Z-Stack example later.

I test with SampleLight in Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a and it only broadcast one packet when I use AF_DataRequest with broadcast.

which tool do you use to catch the log？ ubiqua or others ？

base on your experience ，what would be cause the MAC  boardcast 3 times while  the ZCL transmit sequence number is same ？？？

I use Ubiqua Packet Analyzer. According to my experiences, "boardcast 3 times while the ZCL transmit sequence number is same" might be caused by poor RF performance.

     poor RF performance ？  is that means congested network may cause this happen？

      i  would like to share you another conditions。

      my ZC is layout on  a  Router（which could supply 2.4G and 5.8 G wifi signal）

      ZC working in 26 channel  21dBm  while  wifi  is on 1 channel， 20MHz    

     

    i saw that sometimes the ZED response the ZC read cmd ， always need to resend 3~4times then could receive a ACK。。。

   

       and sometimes the ZED could not rejoin the network after  it  lose connect~~~~~

       is  that possible the WIFI signal disturb the zigbee signal？  if it is ，how could i do？？

 

        

  

I would suggest you to test SampleLight in Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a and see if you have the same issue first.

Maybe it is signal disturbed 。。。
i using another PCB only the Zigbee ZC ， it working well ， all the boardcast msg only send one time in NWK 。
(if there is not more ZC on the same channel)

but if there are more ZC on the same channel， it always happens，the msg always boardcast 3times in NWK although the ZCL transmit sequence number is same。

If you turn off other ZCs on the same channel and don't see this issue, I would say it is signal interference issue.

         yes i do， if the there is only one ZC in the channel， it works well，NWK only boardcast the msg one time。  

       

there is a ZR have been join the network before， but  it had power off 

i saw that  the ZC always send the router request again and again。

i have some requestion about it

 

1.  what is the meaning of router request？

2. could i stop the ZC to sending the router request while i found that it isn't here any more？

1. When ZC find it cannot reach a node, it would send route request to find the routing path to that node.
2. You cannot stop it in application.

1. is that only happen in the ZR have been join the network？（i found there is not more “situation” when ZED joining）
2. when does ZC will stop it ？

1. Can you attach the sniffer log?
2. If I don't remember wrong, ZC would stop it only when it find the correct route.

yes

it is the ZED which connect the ZR ，and then ZR link to ZC 。
but it is always being power off ！


is that anything wrong？

Since ZED is turn off, it's normal that ZC send route request to find it.

when does ZC will stop to router request ？？
