CCS/CC2650: communication between node and gateway

Hi

I am currently working on cc2650, I want  to  know how the communication happened  between node and gateway.  Node is sending some packets to the gateway through RF communication, which layer will receive packet first  in the gateway . is it possible to see the packet sent by node?
