CC2530: Problem with Z-Stack Binding and joining process

Hello, I have some problems when joining an End Device to a Coordinator. When I change the POLL RATE parameter in the f8wconfig to (for example) 25000, then ZED can't join completely to coordinator. (It joins but no data is received from it). Can you please expalain me what happens in the joining process between an ZED and ZC and what should be done in order to joining and binding process done completely?

ZED and ZC need to do some hand shaking when ZED joins ZC. If you set ZED polling to 25000 which is 25 seconds, it is too long for ZED and ZC to do each two way communication and most of message exchanges would fail. This might be the reason why your ZED fails to join.

Thanks for your reply. So how can I set the poll rate after joining process is completed? Also sometimes with POLL RATE=2000 the join process isn't done completely and some attributes don't receive . How can I be sure that this handshaking is done completely?

You can set POLL_RATE to 1000 and change it to 60000 when ZED receives ZDO_STATE_CHANGE to end device 60 seconds later.
