Hello experts,

I am planning to use TLV320AIC3254 in our design. Based on my understanding it has LOL and LOR. which means one output. Our plan is to run two separate audio output channels with different filter settings. Can I configure HPL and HPR as the second line out. If you have a better product for this purpose can you please let me know?

Hello Dulip,

Yes, as for a line out we are driving only voltage and not power:
The HPL and HPR stereo headphone drivers can be used as a second line out just by increasing the value of the output resistor (for instance ~10kOhm instead of the classical headphone load 32Ohm or 16Ohm).
This will permit to drive no power but only voltage.
