non-DC blocking class-D amplifier

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA3117D2, DRV595

I'm trying to find a 10W+/channel Class-D amp in TI's portfolio that:

  • doesn't do DC blocking (i.e. no SpeakerGuard)
  • has differential input that you can use without capacitors (I want to DC couple it)
  • has BTL outputs (no single ended outputs allowed)

I thought the TPA3117D2 might work, but it says it has SpeakerGuard, and the recommended application circuits show input capacitors.

I'm thinking it will work without input capacitors if I bias the differential input around 1.25V, but I want to know if it's going to shut down if it sees a long DC offset on any of the speaker outputs, before I purchase the EVM for further testing.
