I'm trying to find a 10W+/channel Class-D amp in TI's portfolio that:
- doesn't do DC blocking (i.e. no SpeakerGuard)
- has differential input that you can use without capacitors (I want to DC couple it)
- has BTL outputs (no single ended outputs allowed)
I thought the TPA3117D2 might work, but it says it has SpeakerGuard, and the recommended application circuits show input capacitors.
I'm thinking it will work without input capacitors if I bias the differential input around 1.25V, but I want to know if it's going to shut down if it sees a long DC offset on any of the speaker outputs, before I purchase the EVM for further testing.
