Synchronize power supply switch regulator with TAS5766M?

Hello

I plan to use a LM5117 at 12V 9A to power a TAS5766M (probably 8KHz FS x 16). Both designs close to their evaluation boards.

Should the switch regulator be synchronized to the Class-D amp for lowest EMI and best audio?

Or can they run at different frequencies without problem.
