Is TPA0172 good for designing new part

Hi,

I'm designing a new VoIP related product. For the audio part, I need an amplifier with I2C for volume control. Is TPA0172 a good choice, or if there are better choices? How long will TI keep this part in the market?

    Could you share more details about your application?
    Is there any other specification that you need to cover? Class-AB or class-D amplifier? Mono or stereo? What is the load impedance?
    How did you get to the TPA0172? This could help us know what you're looking for.
