Hello,

I recently got a TPA3118D2EVM and I am trying to use it to power up an 8 ohm inductor for wireless power transfer. I have the EVM powered by 18V at PVCC and GND, one side of the inductor is connected to the right terminals and the other side to the left terminals. I have jumpers at JP5 and JP6 to configure the amplifier in PBLT mode and a 400Hz sine wave with 2V amplitude into RIN. I am not getting any output current, is there anything else I need to do to make this work?

Hi, John

Have you checked the Fault pin's status. Maybe there has an over current protection behavior occurred. I expect the '8ohm inductor' is a '8ohm resistor + inductor'.

Hi Peter,

Thank you for responding. I had didn't configure the jumpers correctly and had a power supply problem.

I solved the issue and everything is working as expected.
