I'm quite shocked to find out that these ultra-high-end audio products are gone.
1) I'm truly puzzled --- why would TI discontinue such great products?
2) Are there any replacement / equivalent parts that I could check out? For op-amps, there are still pretty good options (LME497xx and some of the OPA's) --- but for the ultra-low-distortion power amplifiers, the 49811, 10, and 30 were it. I see no interesting options now --- there's still the LM3886, but I'm not quite fond of that one (plus, it's not a comparable part if one considers max. power capability).
Can someone please shed some light on this? In particular, point me to any equivalent/similar parts that may be available?
