Schematics of TAS3204 EVM Board

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS3204, OPA1632

Dear TI community,

I would like to ask if it’s possible for me to get the schematic drawings and PCB layout of the TAS3204 evaluation module. I would like to make a double check with my own design of a TAS3204 board for our university project. I wasn’t able to get the TAS3204 working on my first layout. So I decided to scrap the layout and create a new one. Now a crosscheck with a working design would be great before I’m going to etch and assemble another board.  Unfortunately your “akstexas” support team told me that they can’t support undergraduate students but gave me the hint to ask here. So anybody out there who feels like he can help a clueless student?

Yours faithfully,

Christopher

  • Hi Christopher,

Please find the attached TAS3204EVM layout.

And for more information, you can refer to TAS3204EVM User's guide.

    Hope this helps.

  • Hello Ankit,

thank you for your fast reply. On the first look my design doesn't much differ from your EVM Design. I'am using the Opa1632 for the RCA In- and Outputs and of course I don't have a need for USB or SPDIF connectivity, so I'll have to take a closer look on the desing differences. Are there any special or unusual design considerations for the pcb layout I should consider, besides the "typical" ones like place block capacitators as close as posible to the pads, route the ic voltages as a 2-port through the block cap, etc etc?

    Yours faithfully,

    Christopher

  • Hi Christopher,

    Sorry for the delayed response.

I would suggest you to create a new post for this query as I am unable to suggest for the same.

Hope any other engineer might help you in this regard.

  • Hi support team,

I tried to download the schematic file but i don't have acces to it.

I'm having trouble with the design of my board, it's alredy working but has a lot of noise so I'd like to compare them,

Can I have acces to schematic and layout drawing?

    thanks in advance
