Customer tried to increase capacitance of LC filter to reduce 250kHz noise but switching was stopped.

Please advise another method to reduce 250kHz noise.

Can you send me the layout and schematic of the board they tested for EMI? Problems in the layout can impact EMI performance. The EMI results would be helpful to see if they are available.

I'm looking to see if I can dig up any numbers for the short circuit detection. What load are they using?

Customer use 2m cable from ECU to speaker so I think it difficult to reduce 250kHz EMI noise by modify PCB layout.

The layout is important and could affect the EMI results. It is possible for the noise to couple onto the wires with a poor layout. Seeing the layout and the EMI results would be helpful for diagnosing the issue. You can send it to me through e-mail since it is likely proprietary information.

I think the best thing to do is to measure the short circuit current to get an estimate. I'll be able to bench test it this week.
