Hi,
I am working on an SpO2 application that requires more than 2 LEDs (possibly 4 LEDs will feed into 1 Photo Detector), so I am considering to use 2 or more AFE4400 ICs, but question is how can we synchronize them together.
From datasheet, my proposal is:
- Use single 8MHz Oscillator to feed into Xin pin of both AFE4400.
- Program the 1st AFE4400 to acquire data from first 2 channels in first half of cycle, and the 2nd AFE4400 for remaining 2 channels in second half of cycle.
- MCU calculate the difference between 2 ADC_RDY signals from 2 AFE4400, and adjust the timing (PRPCOUNT registers) accordingly.
Please advice if it is possible or not.
