ADC128S102QML

I am using an ADC123S102QML in a high reliability application.  One of the inputs is being driven by an OP470 opamp and may exceed the specified absolute maximum input voltage by  Va +0.5v.  The other inputs will not be exposed to an overvoltage.

Can Va + 0.5v or greater be tolerated without damage for any period of time?  If so how long? What is the damage mechanism; thermal or punch-through?

Thank you.
