SN54HC165: Why LCCC(FK) package pricing is more expensive than the CDIP(J) package?

hi,

By looking at the indicative price based on 1K pricing. I noticed the SNJ54HC165FK LCCC(FK) package pricing is more expensive than the SNJ54HC165J CDIP(J) package. Even SNJ54HC165W CFP(W) package also more expensive compared to CDIP(J) package. What could be the reason?

Poh,
I was informed that the volumes on the FK devices is lower, resulting in a higher per device cost for pieceparts (package) and higher assembly costs.
