DRV8308: SPI SDATAO Rise Time

Part Number: DRV8308

Hi, I am having some trouble doing SPI reads from the DRV8308.

With a 2K pullup on SDATAO I was seeing rise times of over 100nS, however the part is rated for a min bit time of 62nS. I swapped the resistor out for a 1K and that brought the rise time to 68nS. Obvously I would need a very strong pull-up to achieve the 16MHz the part says it is rated for. The datasheet does not say how much current the SDATAO pin is able to sink, how much is that? In other words, I want to know the maximum speed I can run read data out, which means I need the minimum pull-up resistor, which is the maximum sink current of that pin.

Thanks,

John Sullivan
