I suppose to use CODEC TLV320AIC3104 only like audio data converter from digital audio format I2S to analog audio output.

My question is:

  • Do I need indeed MCLK (Master Clock input) mandatory when CODEC is used like data converter from  I2S to analog audio only? Is BCLK (Bit Clock input) not enough?
  • What are right connection for pin 14 (MIC2L/LINE2L/MICDET) and pin 15 (MIC2R/LINE2R) when it’s not used? Can it be just opened (not connected)?
