With regards to monaural balanced output from the PCM1794A, which output ("right" or "left") is in-phase with the input?
From the datasheet on page 22 we see first attached diagram. The confusing part to me is that it shows the Right channel as the "OUT-" but connected to pin 2 on the XLR/TRS connector, which is the "hot" or "in-phase" pin for the balanced connector. The same connection is made on the DEM-PCM1794 evaluation board as shown by the schematic on page 2-5 on its datasheet (snipped into the second diagram below), but here there is no reference to "OUT+" or "OUT-".
