CCS/TLV320AIC3111: TLV320AIC3111 Noise is generated when changing the output destination

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I confirmed that noise was generated when changing "Output Routing" setting with "Codec Control".

For example, click on the red circle in the figure below.

I confirmed that noise was generated from the speaker L and headphones L connected to the evaluation board.

Is this a problem with the configuration procedure?

If yes, please tell me the correct setup procedure. If no, please tell me what are the possible causes.

I would recommend muting the analog attenuator, then switching the path, and finally unmute the analog attenuator.

Thank you for your reply.
The analog attenuator was muted, and when the switching the path, the noise disappeared.
But, when unmute the analog attenuator, I confirm noise.

can you explain what you mean? are you getting a pop/click when you change the path? or are you getting a constant white nose?

Hi Steve san,

It is setting that sound comes out from the speaker.
At that time, change the value of SPK analog attenuation and I hear pop noise.
The pop noise is larger as the value of the analog attenuation is closer to 0 dB.

I understand that you are experiencing a click/pop when you change the attenuation setting. is that correct?

In your first post, you made it sound like it was connecting the DAC to the output that caused the click/pop. was that also happening?

Adjusting the attenuation setting should not cause any click/pop, and it does not do this for me. Can you provide step by step instructions so I can try to reproduce?
