Hi Sir,

LM49350 codex driver code kernel version is only support linux2.6.24(3.x), I'm currently using the kernel version linux 4.9.37.
If the driver code is unable to update the new linux kernel version, please help support register configuration. Thank you!
1.Can provide the codec chip initialization register code.
2.Codec chip docking master I2S interface is in recording mode, register configuration.
3.Codec chip docking BT PCM interface is in the intercom state (including codec to BT transfer data; BT to codec to transfer data, codec to send data to the speaker to play), register configuration.
4.Whether the codec chip has a register to view the received or sent audio data.

Hello Roy,

There is currently no plans to update this driver.

I can help you with register configuration but you haven't given me enough information.

1. what is your MCLK? what is the audio format for the I2S? (bit depth, slot length, sampling rate, etc... )
which input outputs are you using?
2. You want the device setup as I2S master is that correct? Just the ADC, without DAC?
3. Which PCM format? I assume the BT processor is on a separate I2S bus?

4. can you clarify what you mean? how would you view the audio data?

Hi Steve,

MCLK clock source 12.88MHZ, I2S master and slave can change, ADC & DAC are used, standard PCM format.

The LM49350 needs to either be the I2S master or the I2S Slave. let me know which one you want.

regarding PCM format.... The LM49350 supports Short and Long PCM formats, it also supports u-law/A-law companding. which is often used on short format pcm. what is "standard PCM format" for you?
