Hi Team,
For the OTSD Auto Recovery bit, should the Description say "1": Do not report overtemperature faults on the FAULT pin? Instead of the "0"..
Thank you,
Jared

Jared,
You are correct. This is a typo and we will correct on the next revision of the datasheet.
Hi Gregg,
One additional question.. if a value of 0 is entered for bit 3, does that also mean that Automatic Temperature Protection Recovery is non-active? Meaning the TAS6424-Q1 will not automatically recover if the die temperature drops below the OTW threshold, ultimately requiring a reset of the device to get it working again?
Thanks,
Jared
Jared,
Correct. If the bit 3 is "0" then the automatic recovery is not active.
For recovery, one needs to clear the faults, by asserting Bit 7 in Register 0x21.
Hi Gregg,
Thank you for the response and also confirming that if an OTSD fault occurs, the fault registers will indicate that a fault occurred and hold that fault value of "1" even if the device auto recovers from OTSD.
Best,
Jared
