ADS62P25: Need to know how to decode the date code of part

Part Number: ADS62P25

Hi,

We use 3 of these per board and can only use certain date codes of this piacular part (ADS62P25IRGCT). Is there a document or can you post the break down of this parts date code?

Part Markings:

AZ62P25

TI 75J

P5XFG4

Thanks,

Phil A

  • Phil,

    We are looking into this.

    Regards,

    Jim

  • Thanks for the update Jim and we look forward to any information we can get on this to help resolve our issue.

  • Phil,

We need more information regarding this. What exactly are you looking for? Why are there certain date codes that you need?

    Regards,

    Jim

  • When TI revised the data sheet from A to B, they corrected the die pinouts to match the A data sheet, which was wrong and had the pins swapped. In the C data sheet, you corrected this and swapped the pins back to the original A part die pin out in which our boards are laid out for.

Taken from the revision C data sheet:

Changes from Revision B (December 2008) to Revision C Page
    • Changed pins 19, 20 and 29, 30 ........................................................................................................................................ 25
    • Changed pins 19, 20 and 29, 30 ........................................................................................................................................ 27

We just need to know how to read the date codes and what the revision B die date codes are so we do not continue to install them and then have to remove and replace them with the correct pined out ones.

  • Phil,

I was informed that the  "7" in the part number TI 75J is for 2017 and the "5" is for the 5th month.

    Regards,

    Jim

  • Thanks Jim, the information validated my suspicions on what date codes we can only use, which is mid 2007 and earlier.
