Hi,

I'm using the ADS7953.

VA= 3V and VBD = 1.8V

I didn't take into account, that the line " The analog supply is always greater than or equal to the digital supply." (datasheet, chapter 11) was also applicable during startup.

In my design first the VDB startup, afterwards the VA.

At this moment the ADS7953 seems to work OK.

What can go wrong if I leave the power up sequence like this? I saw the other tread about wrong values from the ADC. is it possible with a command (power down feature for example) to recover from such an error?

PS it would be nice if you update the datasheet, chapter 11, with some note about "power up sequence".
