ADS5295: About 14x or 16x serialization mode!

Hi everyone.

In manual of ADS5295, it says ADS5295 supports 14x,16x serialization factor.

The resolution of ADS5295 is 12bit.

If i set 14x serialization factor, is output data composed of 12 valid bit and 2 dummy bit ? Is Bit clock converted to 3.5xfs?

At page 79. it says 'When digital signal processing functions are used, the 14x and 16x serialization modes can also be used.'

Does 'digital signal processing' mean 'excluding dummy bit'?

when in 14x mode, yes it will become 3.5x

digital processing means the decimation filter, average, digital HPF blocks.

I have a one more question. When i use 14x serialization with ADS5295, does output data has 12 valid bit (converted data) and 2 zero padding bit like below figure? (This figure is manual of ADS6425)
