Hello TI,

I was wondering, if there is a more detailed version of the TAS3308 datasheet available? Because the version found on your website has only 8 or 10 sites with useful informations and is missing quiet a lot informations. For example the datasheet of the TAS3204 has informations to all the timings and registers. This is missing completly in the TAS3308 datasheet.

yours faithfully,

Christopher

    Hi, Christopher,

Unfortunately, TAS3308's status is set to NRND which stands for Not Recommended for New Designs which means we won't be releasing documentation updates, etc for this device anymore. It is fine to keep using if you're currently using it, but we just aren't generating new collateral for it.

    Hello Don,

thank you for this clarification. Some specs about the PWM Interface of the TAS3308 would have been nice. What I want is to interface the TAS3308 with a TAS5631 class D amp. But maybe you can provide me the schematics of the TAS3308 EVM board? The rest is than try and error I guess.

    best regards,

    Christopher

    Christopher,

Unfortunately, I don't see a schematic in the Users Guides for either EVM for this device...

Hmm not even a schematic? Seems like you guys really not wanted to put effort in this DSP. To bad than it is try and error. Thank you anyways Don I appreciate your personal effort in this matter.

    yours faithfully,

    Christopher

    Hello Susan,

thank you for taking a look into this matter, but where can I find the documents? I did not recieve an e-mail from TI and I don't see any links in your post.

    Best regards,

    Christopher

    Christopher,

I'm afraid these docs are not publicly available.  Can you please ask your FAE to contact me, so that I could release these docs to you?  Thanks,

    Susan
