PCM186x EVM - Mode 1 - Getting S/PDIF OUT working at 48kHz

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM9211

Some users have had difficulty getting the S/PDIF output to match the ADC output on the PCM186x EVM.

I've attached a video on how to do this.

Once the PCM186x itself is configured, the PCM9211 needs to be updated with the a new SCK to LRCK rate.

The register in question on the PCM9211 is:

TXSCK[2:0]: DIT System Clock Control

By default it's 256. Which is why, when the device receives 24.576MHz as SCK, it assumes the data is 96kHz.

It needs to be changed to 512x so that it TX's 48kHz content.
