Hello,
customer is doing EMC testing with his application which uses a tlv320aic3204. At ESD air 4 and 8 kV the codec becomes empty. It's like suddenly a reset occurred. Have you any experience with this? (I can send you the schematics in an email)

    Hi, Holger,

    This is not a normal behavior, could you please provide more information about the test and failure event?. The ESD secs of the device can be found on Table 8.2 of the datasheet, are the tests inside these ratings?

    Hello,
    at 4kV the device failed. This is twice the rated value. There were measures taken on het board, but they were not strict enough. They were able to resolve the issue by applying some additional capacitance to the reset line of the codec.
