PCM1774: Thermal pad of PCM1774

Hi Audio folks,

One of my customer ask us how to deal with the thermal pad of PCM1774. I noticed that we didn't describe any word about the thermal pad. but at the end of datasheet, it mentioned that it should connect with PCB, so do we need it connect to GND? AGND or DGND? Looking forward to your early reply. thanks.

Hi Gary,

I believe you should connect the thermal pad to AGND. I will check with our design team to verify.

I have confirmed with our design team that the thermal pad is connected to AGND (pin 17). Though there is electrical impedance with the die attach material, so both the thermal pad and pin need to be connected, just FYI.
