TLV320AIC23B: TLV320AIC23B configuring microfon sampling

Part Number: TLV320AIC23B

Hello,

I try to convince a TLV320AIC23B to output microphone data. I'm a little bit confused by the tables in 3.3.2.2 (Normal-Mode Sampling Rates). I use the device in slave MCLK is 4 Mhz, BCLK is 1 MHz and LRCIN is set to 16kHz. LRCOUT, XTO and CLKOUT are not connected.

While I'm able to output sound data, I'm not able to receive a single bit of analog input (DOUT stays low). Do I have to interpret 3.3.2.2 such, that MCLK have to be one of 12.288MHz, 11.2896MHz, 18.432MHz or 16.9344MHz? I want to sample data with 16kHz, but everything that is close to that value would be fine too.

Kind regards,

Torsten
