  • Hi Lucy

It looks like the images you intended to include with your post did not work. Can you try to include those again?

If you click on the "Use rich formatting" link below the text entry box you will find additional tools to enable images and/or documents to be attached to your post.

Please also provide the following information:

    1. A picture of the top of the ADC12J4000EVM, so I can see which version it is.
    2. A snapshot showing the ADC12J4000EVM GUI revision you are using.
    3. Which TSW capture EVM is being used.
    4. What version of High Speed Data Converter Pro is being used.

  • I try ADC12J4000EVM GUI A and ADC12J4000EVM GUI v1.3.

But The two results are the same.

    A Board state is normal???

    I Use ADC12JXXXXEVM A + TSW14J56.

High Speed Data Converter Pro V4.20.  TSW14J56 board is Okay.

I have already tested the "Test Pattern Mode". But Suddenly ADC12J4000 board is disconnected FTDI.

  • Hi Lucy

Given the board behavior, it sounds like the EEPROM associated with the FTDI USB to serial IC has become un-programmed or corrupted.

Attached below is the programming template containing the proper information for the FTDI chip. Copy this file to your computer, and then use the FT Prog utility to re-program the EEPROM.

Here are the programming the steps:

    1. With the ADC12J4000EVM connected and powered up
    2. Launch FT Prog
    3. Use the magnifying glass Scan and Parse icon to find the board in the Device Tree panel
    4. Right-click on that device and select Apply Template > From File
    5. Navigate to the downloaded template, select the file and click Open.
    6. Then click the lightning bolt Program Devices icon
    7. In the Program Devices dialog, click the Program button
    8. If that is successful, then power cycle the board and re-scan using FT Prog, it should now appear as the proper ID.
    9. If that all worked, it should now be recognized by the ADC12J4000EVM GUI A.

If this doesn't work please let us know.

Here is the template file: /cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/73/6787.ADC12J4000_5F00_A0.xml
