Hi all,

We are working on a design which involves DAC348x EVM , ADS42LBx9 EVM , ADC to HSMC Bridge along with a FPGA EVM.
We need to connect all the boards together with some interconnections between them.

We are doing some mechanical analysis with respect to connecting all the boards together & we need the board files of the above units to continue our analysis.

We have checked in the TI website but only the Gerber data is available.
Can you please help us by sharing the board files for the below designs :

1) ADC EVM - ADS42LB69EVM

2) DAC EVM - DAC348XEVM

3) ADC to HSMC Bridge

Attached are ODB++, assembly drawings and few other files. We do not have any 3D files.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the files.

We are planning to make a HSMC ADC Bridge board to support all 16 bit connection from ADC EVM to HSMC connector.
Thus we need to have the board layout file to modify the design.

The shared folder only contains the Gerber files.
Can you please share the board layout files (Specifically of HSMC ADC Bridge) ?

Hi Jim,

The schematics & board file you have shared is of RevD, whereas the Gerber files present on ti.com are of RevB.
The issue with RevB boards was that, couple of pairs of data from ADS42LB69 EVM were getting connected to ground.
We see this issue is being taken care of in rev D schematics.
Please find the below snapshots for details.

Please confirm us that RevD is the latest board & we will be receiving the RevD boards only if we place the order for HSMC ADC Bridge.
If so, we can directly use the HSMC ADC Bridge without any customization.

If you order a bridge board today, you will get a Rev B. The Rev D boards were just released to fab and should be available in about 2-3 weeks. If you send me your address, I will ship you one Rev D board for free as soon as we get them.

Hi Jim,

Thanks a lot for the clarification.

There seems to be one small concern with respect to the RevD HSMC ADC Bridge.

Nets INPUT16_P & INPUT16_M are connected to Pins 42 & 44 of HSMC connector respectively.
But Arria V FPGA EVM these nets are single ended & not differential.
This might cause some issues with respect to data integrity.

Anyhow, we would like to test it with RevD board & conclude on the same.
