Do you mean you want to tie all CS\ together? then the SPI but will not work. When you read from the chip, all of them will drive the MISO line at the same time.

I also want to use LDC1000 with daisy chained SPI bus, but my config is a bit different.

In my case there is only 1 LDC1000 and 2 controller to which sensor output has to be communicated. I am not sure if daisy chain will be possible in that config. Fig below is for reference.

Request help for finding a solution.

Hello Ankit,

You dont need to use the daisy chain here since the second MCU is configured as a slave. What I mean is you can have SCLK, MOSI, and MISO from the master to go to both LDC and the other MCU. You will need two different CSB pins going from the master to LDC and the second MCU. You can toggle the CSB pins together when the data is streamed.

Surely using two different CSB pins (Individual CS) is an option. But in Individual CS case, an additional Pin will be required, Master controller shall read data from LDC1000 first and send it back to second controller in next cycle.

I am not able to decide which will be more viable solution to adopt (daisy chain or individual CS config), both from hardware connections and firmware implementation point.

I will be using differential signalling for data and CLK line.

Please let me know if you still feel individual CS will be better option to implement.
