I have ADS1278EVM-PDK and would like to know if and how to do digital input with adcpro preferably without first saving to a file.
Since the kit already contains mmb0 with a dsp I thought the basics for that were already in place.
Can you advise ?

Alex,
Can you explain more precisely what you mean?
I have a sensor where its microcontroller already outputs the value in a byte format.
I would need to connect these 8 bits to the MMB0, and setup AdcPro to read and display this 8 bit value.
Is that possible and where can I find detailed info for MMB0 ?
Alex,
There are no digital I/O pins made available for the MMB0 that are not already in use as part of our modular evaluation platform footprint. The MMB0 is not intended to be a full embedded development tool, it is an evaluation platform. There are a few GPIO pins specified in our footprint, but not enough for you to connect to aforementioned sensor. In the case of the ADS1278EVM-PDK these GPIO lines are in use for the EVM-PDK so they are not open for you to modify and retain full EVM-PDK functionality.
Outside of header J4 no other digital signals are made available from the MMB0, with the exception of J8 but that is reserved for a ICDI/emulator.
Alex,
MMB0 Schematic attached. Please note that the MMB0 schematics are unsupported, meaning there is no additional documentation to be provided to explain this schematic or functionality of the MMB0. Enjoy!
