Unable to get ADS1298 to connect to computer via USB

Hello,

I have a MMB0 REV d board, and a ADS1298ECG-FE board attached. I keep getting this error.

1. Both J13A and J13B are open on MMB0.

2. All jumpers are on the ADS1298 board as shown in PDF page 10. (The PDF was found on this webpage http://www.ti.com/tool/ads1298ecgfe-pdk)

3. I'm running Windows 7

4. I did not connect ADS1298 to computer before installing software.

5. I install software by saving file to computer and then "run as Administrator"

6. I get this pop-up

7. I click ok and continue.

8. I get this pop-up

(Not sure if this is a problem or not)

9. Then the software is installed, but I get the errors as displayed at the beginning of my post.

Here’s what the control panel looks like.

I don’t see any other names for the device besides unrecognized, but then it switches to MMB0 (NI-VISA) quickly after.

One other thing to note is that the numerical display on the MMB0 board looks like this.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Are you running Win7 64 bit? We have come across a known issue with the installer that we are working to resolve.

In the mean time, there is a manual work around we can share with you. May we contact you via the email address in your profile?

actually I experienced now the same phenomena using Windows 7 64 bit. In case a solution is available by now, please be so kind to send me a hint? Otherwise I would appreciate to receive the manual work around by email.

Mr Piel -

The software will work OK; the problem that we have seen is actually the driver installation. You should receive an email with some further information shortly.
