Hi all,
We are using the Am437x GP-EVM and trying to compile the 3.14 Kernel available from the gitorious link.
http://git.ti.com/ti-linux-kernel/ti-linux-kernel/commits/linux-3.14.y
We tried applying the HDMI Audio patch into this kernel given by Tomi Valkeinen tomi.valkeinen at ti.com
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.linux.ports.arm.omap/116459
When we do aplay command, we are not hearing the HDMI Audio. We have probed the McASP1 Lines and have confirmed that the Master-Clock, FrameSync and Bit-clocks are proper from the McASP side.
Can somebody from TI point us to the right patch for getting HDMI Audio working on AM43xx GP EVM.
Thanks,
Ravindra
Hi Rogerio,
Thanks for the response. In the default 3.12 SDK Kernel, the HDMI Audio support is not present. We have taken the patches from Jyri Sarha's custom 3.12 branch and tried integrating or merging the HDMI Audio changes from there.
Has anybody else tried checking the HDMI Audio support on the AM437x GP-EVM
Thanks,
Ravindra
