How do I permanently choose to "Show All Cores" in CCS5?

I am using CCS 5.0.2.  In CCSv4, there was an option in the debug window to always show all cores (even non-debuggable ones).  In CCSv5, that option must have moved.  Where can I find it now.  Every time I launch my debugger, I now have to right click on the target and select "Show All Cores"

Thanks,

Dan

  • Dan,

Go to menu Run --> Debug Configurations... and select the launch configuration.

You will be able to permanently set the core visibility in the box on the right (check the screen attached).

The reason for this is because most customers were confused by the number of cores, therefore the view was simplified.

    Hope this helps,

    Rafael

P.S. Sometimes the menu Run is not visible in the CCS Edit perspective. Either open the CCS Debug perspective or customize the CCS Edit perspective by going to menu Window --> tab Menu visibility --> checkbox Run
