as soon as I launch the software I get this error , "Ccstudio" "Failed to create the Java Virtual Machine"

steps I have tried to get around the error

one uninstall and reinstall the software

two uninstall all Java and the code composer studio

and reinstall the code composer studio

nothing has had any effect

Hi John,

could you please provide more information? What OS and CCS version? What Java version do you have? What exactly have you tried/experience and could you send any error logs or .dmp files that may have been generated.

system information:

Code Composer Studio,Version: 5.2.0.00069

Win 7-64Bitt 8G Ram, AMD Phenom II X6 1100T 3.33Ghz

in response to this error I tried removing all software including Java.then I downloaded and installed the latest version of code composer studio.

I still had the error so I installed the latest version of Java. I still had the error

so I restarted the PC, software started up without issue

next time I went to start the software, I got the same error.

I noted that I have several programs running, Google Chrome, and several other programs I closed a few the programs, and restarted code composer studio. It started fine.
