I have similar problem – while installing there is an information:
“Installer failed to install com.ti.msp430.msp43-ware.win32 correctly. …”
Anti-virus was turned off. I had download the installation package (offline option) once again – the same error had occur while installing new downloaded installer.
The log file is attached.
