CCS3.3 converting file format from .out to .hex for C2000-GANG

I converted the image from .out to .hex using the following command:

hex2000 -i -o myfile.hex myfile.out

-i is for Intel hexa format.

When I told C2000-GANG to program, I first erased and then programmed. No errors programming but my board does not run. it is dead!

What could possibly be wrong?

Hi Gil,

I don't know anything about the C2000-GANG programmer as it does not come from the software tools group. Any queries on that I would recommend posting in the C2000 device forum.

I believe the problem is with the conversion not with the programmer. Do you think you can provide some input?

is going from .out to .hex plain simple or should I have to tweak the offset?

I noticed that you used many of the default options by not explicitly specifying many options with the exception of -i. If you did not intend to use the defaults then you many need to set some of the additional options mentioned in the pdf (-boot, -sci, -romwidth etc). It will depend on your environment. You can try the C2000 forums for more advice. There are several similar threads like:
