Put CCS6 in source control in order to allow builds from computer without CCS6 installed

Hi,

As part of automatic builds we need to be able to build our binaries without having CCS6 installed on the computer (developers desktops has CCS6 installed but build desktops can be any desktop).

For this we are considering putting CCS6 + Compilers, etc in source control and use CCS6 command line interface for build.

Is it possible according to CCS6 licensing?

Thanks,

Assaf.

  • Assaf,

Which device family and license type are you using?  Some CCS licenses are node locked so when you check it out you would need to have a license for the machine.  However if you are able to get by with using one of the free licenses you would be ok.  Another option would be a floating license.
