CCSv6 Installation Stuck

Hi Bernard,

Did you turn off the anti-virus and firewall? Also try running the setup using "Run as Administrator" option.
(Please delete the contents in c:/ti before running another setup)

Firewall and antivisus are disabled.

I cleared the C:\ti folder

This time I ran as "administrator"

Stuck in the exact same spot.

Please zip up the contents of c:\ti\ccsv6\install_logs* (all the folders) and post them here so we can take a look at what's going on.

How do I post a.zip file on this thread? I am stuck with CCS6 that gets stuck during install and I am trying to share the install logs.

All you've to do is: Click on "Use rich formatting" below the text box. Drag and Drop the zip file to the window.

Hi Bernard,
You seem to be stuck before the installer logs become useful. Can you check if the folder C:/Users/bernard.b/AppData/Local/Temp/ccs_3a0f9657-4059-4150-602a-abff9a8d0bc8/eclipse/ws still exists? If so, can you zip that up and post here? For some reason, eclipse itself is getting stuck and there may be more logs there.

The only thing in that temp folder is the uninstall_ccs application and its DAT file.

It looks like we'll have to run the installer again and see if we capture the logs this time. Run the installer, don't kill it off, then check for the logs. The temporary folder will be different - look for another ccs_* folder under C:/Users/bernard.b/AppData/Local/Temp/.

It could be that eclipse is unable to access the server (it finds the proxy etc. in a different way from the installer). You could also try downloading the offline installer and using that.
